A learner willing to learn more

Preserving Plants? Cool!

This year for Science, we are not only into the experimenting of different hypothesizes, but we are now interested in preserving plants without chemicals but also preserving them in laminated covers. It is quite hard to do because we have to research on the plant or flower we are assigned, learn the taxonomy and even laminate it with plastic. It is really new to me and interesting, but aligned with all the projects and lessons of the school, proves to be very hard to do. I admit though that I am a child who wants to play and have fun so that may be a reason why it’s hard, but I am happy that I have learned to preserve a plant, specifically a rose naturally. All it requires is to be pressed by something heavy for a long while.
